DDoS Attack Scenario
According to some renowned computer journal, DoS attacks can be defined as:
"An attack designed to render a computer or network incapable of providing normal services. The most common DoS attack will target the computer networks’ bandwidth or connectivity."

DDoS (Distributed Denial of Services) is an advanced and highly fatal type of DoS attacks in which the attacking computers are personal computers with broadband connections to the Internet that have been compromised by viruses or Trojan horse programs. DoS attacks attempt to exhaust the victim's resources. These resources can be network bandwidth, computing power, or operating system data structures. Major sites of the internet have internet connections with large bandwidth and are protected by the firewall systems that block the known DoS attacks. Since the cure was improved so was the illness. Soon after DoS attacks, DDoS attacks were reported. To launch a DDoS attack, malicious users first build a network of computers that they used to produce the volume of traffic needed to deny services to computer users. To create this attack network, attackers discover vulnerable sites or hosts on the network
DDoS attacks are generated by machines called ‘Daemons’ which are controlled by handlers and handlers are controlled by the DDoS generator.
